Title: "Part XII: In the Dark" (3754 words)
Summary: Ah, the best made plans... everybody faces a big detour in their plans and must find another way to work through the situation.
Warnings: Mild violence and language.
Pairing: The ever-present implied Luis/Rachel.
Author's Note: Took me long enough, right? It also took me twelve parts to realize that I really suck at and loathe writing the summary for each part. LOL. Never read the summary; I have no idea what I'm saying.
This part was well over 4000 words in the first draft, but let's face it. That is waaaay too long. It was also horribly balanced between the flashback in the beginning and then Paris time in the end, so I took out as much of the extraneous crap that I could. I'm hoping that it still makes sense. If something doesn't flow well, let me know so I can fix it. Get ready for a flashback only part next! I have been planning that part and picturing it in my head ever since I began plotting this fic, so I'm hoping that it won't take nearly as long as this one did.
Also, yes, I am backdating this entry for November 18th so that this MAMMOTH PART was completed and posted on Rachel's birthday. The woman is 31 today, she deserves a gift! As always, ENJOY.

So, I finally finished writing Part XII. Took me long enough, right? What was that? Two months? Three? Anyway, it's currently over 4000 words, soooo it's gonna take some editing before I post it. I will absolutely post it sometime this week. My goal is Sunday night/early Monday morning.

Wow. It's been far too long since I posted anything. Damn. That wasn't even a full part that I posted last time. Yikes.
I'm still alive! I'm still here, still interested in finishing up this fic. Rerping has made me realize how much I want a solid story for Chris and Rachel. I know part of why I'm dragging my feet on this part-- I'm afraid of the next part, but there's no way to get both parts completely perfect on the first try and I've got to realize that.
Just a quick note to let you know I'm still here.

Author's Note: This is what took me so long to write, everyone. Can't say I particularly liked it, but I was really glad to have this breakthrough moment when I was like "why can't Luis go here?" I didn't want to continue with the next real part until I wrote and posted this, so times are getting better.

Author's Note: This seemed so much better in my head. The original idea had something to do with Jill asking Chris about his kids as a joke and not realizing how uncomfortable a topic that is. I cut that out because I didn't know how to word it or how to fit it in, so, instead, you get this. Honestly, I think it's boring and I won't be offended if everybody else thinks it is, too. It was just time to post it. I may go back later and fix it. Getting into character with Chris and Jill has been really hard lately. Writing times are bad, guys.

Summary: It's time for real clean clothes that haven't been washed in a river. This takes place in the magic time after the main fic has ended and before the post-canon really begins, so summer 2005, I would say.
Warnings: What I consider to be scandalous, so. Probably no warnings for you. LOL
Pairing: God, I hope it's Chris and Rachel.
Author's Note: So, this really isn't as bad as I thought it was once I read it over again. It was enough to make me blush and skip over the parts I wrote when I was REALLY drunk. It's not wonderful, but it's not terrible either. It's okay. Not gonna lie, it was hard to edit, because I was embarrassed not only for Christochel, but for myself just for writing it. If it's repetitive, that's exactly why. LOL. Enjoy!

It was harder to describe the exact location of the inside of the facility, so if you have any questions about that, ask. I finally just figured it out for myself. I might change this part later on to include some action, but for now, this is what works the best. Also, I think I edited this part with my asscheeks.
